- LA should again destroy Dallas' 3 man backline while Alvarez and Cooper will get their chances on the other end. 3 of the league's top 4 scorers are in this game and I saw all 3 score plus a second for Buddle and a 3-1 away win

LA over 2.75 goals 6.5u -125
LA +1/4 2.5u -125

- ok, am I really doing this? oh well, going against my "bet $hit, get $hit" motto and backing San Jose. Great additions of Sealy and Huckerby up front and they'll have had more than a week practicing with the others, so should be more effective than in Toronto. Red Bulls are a one man team and, without Dane Richards' runs to spread the defense, the Quakes should be able to double JP all day.

Let me say i know nothing about MLS, but LA look like they will destroy FC DALLAS, dallas has one guy at the Olympic team, and they lost last time 5-1, FC Dallas seems to be on the skids and LA will be focused after the break I bet LA and over 2.5 Goals; please tell me what chance Dallas has of even a tie , why will LA not score 5 goals this time also to move closer to the top spot in the west ?

LA 200 to win 375

well MLS players, like any american sport, will focus even harder knowing they lost 5-1 at home last time they met so I expect big effort from Dallas. Dallas misses two midfielders though which is the one place you can exploit LA since their central midfield is a joke. Playing with a back 3 is an invite to LA stroking another 5 goals past Sala but it will be 102 degrees at kickoff, which is not in LA's favor.

Dallas with complete domination...4 goals and 3 crossbars. SJ deserved the W but could only draw

- RSL with a must win tonight as 6 of next 8 are on the road and they're the worst traveler in MLS history. TFC without Wynne, Edu, Dichio, Dunivant and Jeff Cunningham may not even suit up on the bench as he's been moved to the reserve squad dressing room. TFC have allowed 2+ goals in all 7 away games so let's go with a 2-0 home win

Once again, we're on the same side.

Quakes own goal was disheartening but their new signees have made the club better...despite the fact that Sealy still can't finish on the season.

gl, rolltide.

Like a lotta MLS clubs...they have trouble finishing.

San Jose picked up Arturo Alvarez from FC Dallas. He was underutilized by the Hoops and is a nice selection.

FCD is about to lose Toja and Cooper - to Steaua Bucharest and Cardiff City, respectively. What is Schellas Hyndman and the front office doing?

RSL's finishing was a joke. Findley misses 1 on 1 then Beckerman, alone on the keeper, has the ball taken off his foot. Glad they found a way to hit back after the free kick.

well Dallas did their best for Cooper, offering him the same contract as Twellman but I heard Cardiff is coming in at 4M for him. Cooper is a decent player but you gotta grab the 4M (don't know if his contract is for 4M or the transfer fee but either way he has to go).

The Toja thing was pretty well planned by Dallas. Got him for nothing and selling for over 1M. He has circled Steaua since they will play in champions league this year plus he has a fellow countrymen on the team.

Remember they have the partnership with Atletico-PR in Brazil so they should have some nice coin to bring in a Brazilian.

I like Alvarez too...good speed. Had read he was in the doghouse all year though which is how Oduro got so much playing time.

looks like that 4M is the transfer fee...insanity

MLS has accepted the $4 million US (2 million pounds) offer for Cooper’s services from Cardiff; but the Hunts, owners of FC Dallas, appear to be standing pat for now and have not accepted or rejected the transfer on FC Dallas’ behalf. Our sources say Cardiff has now come back with a second higher personal terms offer to Cooper but would not confirm the amount.
Meanwhile Rosenborg’s roughly $3 Million offer still sits on the table, also un-acted upon by the Hunts. Cooper reportedly has agree to personnel terms with Rosenborg on a base contract upwards of $600,000 US with bonuses taking it over $1 million US a year

well, Toja played well last season, which helped set up his pending transfer, i guess. His play has been sub-par so far and FCD's strength is in the midfield, so it looks like a good deal for them.

Cooper is a tough loss but as a feeder league there was no way FCD and the MLS could hold on to him for much longer.

Wonder what Cooper will do. Cardiff City was supposed to be a done deal, essentially. But Rosenborg and their storied legacy in the Tippeligaen might be equally attractive.
